Berachain vs Cronos

Berachain is an EVM‑compatible Layer‑1 built with the Cosmos SDK that introduces Proof‑of‑Liquidity (PoL), rewarding validators based on the liquidity they provide rather than just stake weight. Its Cronos Gravity Bridge allows native ERC‑20 assets to move between Cosmos zones and Ethereum, and a native staking module pays ~12 % APR in CRO. The chain’s Gas Grants program has onboarded over 400 projects since 2022.
