Coinbase Bridge tracks the wrapped assets issued by Coinbase and backed 1:1 by reserves held in Coinbase custody, the largest being cbBTC, Coinbase's wrapped Bitcoin. These tokens bring assets such as BTC, XRP, ADA, DOGE and LTC onchain on networks like Base, Ethereum and Solana, so that Coinbase users can move them into DeFi for lending, liquidity provision or collateral. Minting and redemption are handled through Coinbase accounts, which makes conversion between the native asset and its wrapped version simple for exchange users.
