Stargate V2 is the upgraded bridge of LayerZero that merges individual chain pools into a unified Auction AMM, significantly reducing liquidity fragmentation. Gas usage was cut by 40 %, and new rebalancing logic decreases slippage on long‑tail assets. The upgrade shipped in December 2024 alongside an STG tokenomics revamp that diverts 50 % of bridge fees to veSTG lockers.
