BHP Group Limited American Depositary Shares (Each representing two Ordinary Shares) price chart
BHP Group Limited American Depositary Shares (BHP) is a global diversified mining company focused primarily on supplying iron ore and copper. The current BHP Group was formed through the merger of BHP Limited and Billiton PLC, with the dual-listed structure established in 2001 later unified in 2022. Its key assets include Pilbara iron ore and the Escondida copper mine. BHP sold its onshore U.S. oil and gas assets in 2018, while its remaining petroleum business was spun off and merged with Woodside in 2022, with the Woodside shares distributed to BHP shareholders. In fiscal 2023, the company acquired copper miner Oz Minerals, followed by the purchase of half of the Vicuna copper joint venture in fiscal 2025. BHP is also expanding into potash through development of the Jansen project in Canada. However, weak prices led the company to place its nickel business on care and maintenance in 2024.
