Anheuser-Busch InBev is the world’s largest brewer and ranks among the top five global consumer products companies by EBITDA. Its portfolio includes six of the 10 highest-volume beer brands worldwide, and we estimate the company distributes 23 brands generating more than $1 billion in retail sales. AB InBev was formed through the 2008 merger of Belgium-based InBev and U.S.-based Anheuser-Busch. The company also holds a 62% economic interest in Ambev, an 87% stake in Budweiser APAC, and completed the acquisition of SABMiller in 2016.
