Canadian Pacific Kansas City Limited (CPKC) is a Class I railroad whose network spans much of Canada and extends into the Midwestern and Northeastern United States. After its April 2023 merger with Kansas City Southern, the company began offering single-line rail service connecting Canada and the Upper Midwest with Texas, the Gulf Coast, and Mexico. CPKC also transports cross-border and domestic Mexican freight through operating concessions covering more than 3,000 miles of rail in Mexico. Its freight portfolio includes grain, intermodal containers, energy products such as crude oil and frac sand, chemicals, plastics, coal, fertilizer and potash, automotive shipments, and a broad range of other merchandise.
