Entergy Corporation (ETR) is a holding company with five regulated, vertically integrated utilities that generate and deliver electricity to approximately 3 million customers across Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas. The company ranks among the largest power producers in the United States, with 27 gigawatts of rate-regulated owned and leased generation capacity. Entergy was once the second-largest nuclear owner in the US before beginning the retirement and sale of its Northeastern plants in 2014. In 2025, it divested its two small gas utilities in Louisiana.
