W.W. Grainger, Inc. price chart
Founded in 1927, W.W. Grainger began as a mail-order distributor of motors. Over the 20th century, the company broadened its reach into additional industrial product categories and introduced its first digital catalog in 1995. Today, Grainger operates through two business segments serving distinct customer groups. Its larger High-Touch Solutions segment provides a broad range of maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) products along with customized inventory management services for larger enterprises. Its smaller Endless Assortment segment runs the online platforms Zoro and MonotaRO, which offer extensive MRO product catalogs tailored to smaller businesses. While Grainger serves customers globally, the majority of its revenue comes from the United States.
