Huntington Ingalls Industries, Inc. price chart
Huntington Ingalls Industries, Inc. is the largest independent military shipbuilder in the United States and was spun off from Northrop Grumman in 2011. The company operates three business segments, including two historic shipyards: Ingalls, which builds non-nuclear vessels such as amphibious assault ships and Arleigh Burke-class destroyers, and Newport News, which builds nuclear-powered ships and is the sole manufacturer of Gerald R. Ford-class aircraft carriers, as well as a major subcontractor for Virginia-class and Columbia-class nuclear submarines. HII shares destroyer and nuclear submarine production with General Dynamics’ Bath Iron Works and Electric Boat shipyards, respectively. Its Mission Technologies segment develops uncrewed maritime vessels and delivers a broad range of IT and other services to U.S. government agencies.
