Intercontinental Exchange Inc. is a vertically integrated financial market operator that runs major exchanges and offers complementary data products. Best known for owning the New York Stock Exchange, acquired in 2013, ICE also operates a significant derivatives exchange. Its largest commodity futures offering is the ICE Brent crude futures contract. Beyond its exchange business, which accounts for about 54% of net revenue, Intercontinental Exchange has expanded through acquisitions to build a mortgage technology business (22% of net revenue) and a fixed income and data services segment (24% of net revenue).
