With more than 135 years of history, McCormick has grown into the world’s leading manufacturer of spices, herbs, extracts, seasonings, and other flavor products. Alongside its flagship McCormick brand, the company’s portfolio includes Old Bay, Zatarain’s, Thai Kitchen, Frank’s RedHot, French’s, and Cholula. This lineup is expected to be enhanced by the pending addition of Unilever’s food brands, mainly Knorr cooking aids and Hellmann’s mayonnaise. Following the close of the transaction, the combined business is projected to derive 70% of sales from consumers and 30% from restaurants and other packaged food and beverage manufacturers. Approximately 40% of revenue is expected to come from faster-growing emerging markets, while Europe (23%) and North America (36%) make up the balance.
