Constellation Brands, Inc. is the leading supplier of alcoholic beverages in the United States across the beer, wine, and spirits segments, with more than 90% of its revenue coming from imported Mexican beer sold under top brands such as Modelo and Corona. The remainder of its business consists of a smaller portfolio of wine and spirits labels, following asset reductions in those categories in recent years. Because its exclusive rights to these Mexican beer brands apply only within the US, the company has limited exposure to international revenue. Constellation also holds a 10% stake in Canopy Growth, a Canadian producer of medical and recreational cannabis, and operates a 50/50 joint venture in Mexico with glass manufacturer Owens-Illinois.
