Dogecoin (DOGE) vs Gram (prev. Toncoin) (GRAM)

Dogecoin is a peer-to-peer digital payment network whose technological infrastructure is a derivative of Litecoin, which itself is a fork of Bitcoin. Dogecoin was launched in 2013 as a joke, intended to mock overly serious cryptocurrencies. The DOGE mascot is inspired by a meme (an Internet joke) featuring a Shiba Inu, a Japanese dog breed that became famous. Dogecoin quickly gained popularity, thus becoming the first "memecoin" in the cryptocurrency market.

The Open Network (TON) is an open-source ecosystem based on the TON blockchain. This network is the backbone of a complex, multi-layered architecture, composed of several "workchains," which are themselves divided into several "shardchains," allowing for a high level of performance. Initially built by the Telegram messaging team, the Open Network project is now independent and its development relies on its community of developers.
