Mantle is a layer 2 scalability solution for Ethereum, whose technological infrastructure ensures full compatibility with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), facilitating the creation of smart contracts and decentralized applications (dApps). Mantle is an atypical Optimistic Rollup as it has a modular architecture: the network only handles transaction execution, while consensus is managed by Ethereum and data is decentralized with EigenDA.
