About Rocket Pool
Rocket Pool lets users stake as little as 0.01 ETH and receive rETH while node operators bond only 8 ETH plus 2.4 ETH worth of RPL to spin up a ‘mini‑pool’. Withdrawal requests are serviced by a smoothing pool that redistributes MEV and block rewards across the set of operators. The protocol has been live since November 2021 and is regarded as the most decentralised liquid‑staking alternative on Ethereum.
