Floki Inu, or FLOKI, is a "memecoin" cryptocurrency whose mascot is a Shiba Inu, a dog of the famous Japanese breed. It was created following a post by Elon Musk, a fervent supporter of Dogecoin, in which he introduced his new dog, a Shiba Inu named Floki. In light of its success, the team behind Floki Inu made a radical turnaround, deciding to develop decentralized finance (DeFi) products, build a marketplace for gift cards and other goods and services, as well as Play-to-Earn (P2E) blockchain games.
