What is Hyperliquid smart money?
Smart money is the group of Hyperliquid traders with the strongest, most consistent track record. Because every Hyperliquid account is public, OAK Research can rank them and aggregate their open perp positions into one read of where experienced traders are leaning.
How are the wallets selected?
Every day we score all Hyperliquid accounts. A wallet qualifies with meaningful equity, a solid all-time profit, a profitable last month and real trading activity. Market makers and high-frequency bots are excluded by their turnover. The rest are ranked on all-time profit, recent profit and edge per dollar traded, and the top 100 form the cohort.
How often is the data updated?
Open positions are refreshed every hour. The cohort itself is re-ranked once a day, so wallets enter or leave as their performance changes.
How should I use this data?
Use it as context, not as a signal to copy. A strong consensus shows where profitable traders are exposed, but large wallets can hedge positions elsewhere and can be wrong. This page is not investment advice.
